What do you think?
On Amazon (I haven’t spotted this on any other online site…yet) some of my more recent historical romances, published by a New York City publishing company, have enhanced titles. My recent suspense, GIRL ANONYMOUS, is now:
GIRL ANONYMOUS: A Fast-Paced Psychological Suspense of Betrayal and Vigilante Justice in a Mafia Crime Family
My first book, CANDLE IN THE WINDOW is now:
CANDLE IN THE WINDOW: A Fiery Medieval Romance Where a Noble Knight and Innocent Lady Confront Darkness and Danger for Love
POINT LAST SEEN: A Chilling Mystery of Lost Identity and Deadly Secrets
THAT SCANDALOUS EVENING: An Arrogant Rake and a Disgraced Spinster's Forbidden Second Chance
EVERY SINGLE SECRET: A Twisty Dark Romance Novel of Revenge and Psychological Suspense
LOST IN YOUR ARMS: A Scottish Romance Where Lost Memories Awaken Dangerous Passion and Buried Secrets
The summations are blunt, correct, and done by AI, I’m sure. To a “published by a publishing company” author, trope stuffing titles a fascinating development.
I asked on my Facebook reading group, BEHIND THE BOOKSHELF, for their thoughts. A lot of vehement opinions came out of that.
Back to the original question: what do you think? Use the comment box below to reply. The comments come into my email and I will read them all. I’m fascinated to hear your response.
Also, if you don’t mind, would you give me your approximate age, as in the decade? That would clarify any age divide. Obviously, do not do this if it makes you uncomfortable.
While I’m here, please add me to your email list. Here’s my address:
