THAT OTHER BOOK THAT’S COMING OUT March 7
When my editor and I were discussing a title for my upcoming book, she pulled a phrase from my synopsis and said, “FORGET WHAT YOU KNOW is a great title!”
My agent and I agreed. Great title except…it’s also a command, Forget what you know, which to my brain means You are to forget your own book title!
And I do. On a regular basis I try to say or write something about the upcoming book and I can’t remember the title. It’s getting embarrassing. I mean, on March 12 Jayne Ann Krentz is interviewing me about the book, Whatchamacallit (details about the upcoming interview here.)
Jayne’s a friend and I’m sure she won’t laugh at me. (I know, who am I kidding?) So I’ve written a few reminders for myself…
