Author holiday lunch!

A peek at the fabulous lunch I enjoyed with: standing, Jayne Ann Krentz, Kristin Hannah, Moi and seated, Megan Chance. We talked, we laughed, we brainstormed, after three and a half hours, we shut down the restaurant. They really wanted to prepare for dinner, but we were having so much fun, they let us stay. Seattle restaurant recommendation: Il Terrazzo Carmine. Great food (try the cioppino!), wonderful decor and gracious service.

What (besides long-term friendships and a lot of good books) do we women have in common? Each one of these dear good friends rushed to read A DAUGHTER OF FAIR VERONA and gave me a quote in time to add to the advanced reading copies. Kensington Books and I are thrilled, and I hope you join us in a toast to friendship and time together.

Want to read an advanced reading copy of A DAUGHTER OF FAIR VERONA ? Kensington has promised me a few paper copies and a few influencer boxes to share with my readers. When they arrive (I have no idea when that will be,) I’ll run a contest. If you’d like an early read, join my mailing list here on my Christina Dodd site (or celebrate because you’re already there. 🥳 ) If you’d like to double your chances, join my Daughter of Montague mailing list.

Why two mailing lists? Because A DAUGHTER OF FAIR VERONA is humorous historical fiction about the oldest daughter of Romeo and Juliet — and right now you’re saying, “Sounds good!” Or “Has Christina Dodd lost her mind?” (Read about the reasons for my craziness.) You know where you stand on this, so join one or the other or both and make yourself happy!

No matter what you decide, we’ll have a great time reading in 2024!
